Payments made to Rockville Cemetery Association for the purchase and use of interment sites and niches support operations costs and ensure that our burial grounds are perpetually maintained in a respectful condition befitting the city’s most historic cemetery.
Monetary donations, in particular, can immediately support specific concerns, including public safety, visitor use, and overall visual appeal of the cemetery’s landscape. As Rockville Cemetery Association, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a private 501(c)(13) non-profit organization, monetary donations are tax-deductible, and donors have an opportunity to specify the intended use for their contributions.

We thank you – as your donations help preserve Rockville’s most historic cemetery!
The restoration of the distinctive shed adjacent to the caretaker’s cottage, severely damaged by decades of neglect, was only made possible by financial donations which prevented the demolition of this historic structure.
Financial contributions can help provide the tools, materials, and the technical support necessary to clean and repair damaged headstones, improving [both] public safety and restoring respectful cemetery appearances.
